Welcome to the wonderful world of scentwork, where your fur-friend’s nose knows best! At the heart of scentwork is a game of hide and seek, scents are hidden, and their extraordinary nose is set to the task of finding it. You’ll find it’s an exciting and fun-filled way to engage with your dog, while also helping them develop their natural sniffing abilities.

Scentwork is easy to start – all you need is your dog’s favourite reward and a load of enthusiasm. It’s a fantastic way to stimulate your pet mentally, as well as give them a rewarding exercise that they’ll love. Watch your dog’s eyes light up as they solve the mystery of the hidden reward – it’s Sherlock ‘Bones’ on the trail!

Don’t worry if you’ve never done scentwork before, we’ve got you covered with our step-by-step guidance on the Just Scent Dog Workshop. So, get ready for a tail-wagging adventure in the amazing world of scentwork!

Part 1 | Sunday 24th September 9am-12pm
This Level 1 Scent Workshop is Part 1 of 2. This 4hr 1st Part introduces you & your dog to the world of Active & Passive Indications. You & your dog will learn to search using the very same methods as Professional Service Dogs. On completion you will understand the skills learnt & feel confident that you can go home & continue your searching at virtually no cost & relative ease.

Support will be readily available at the monthly ScentWalks & ScentClubs, thru video resources or by contacting Justine directly. Scent is something our dogs are doing every single day, this workshop will teach you how to join in and play their very favourite game WITH them! Thus ever improving that amazing relationship between dog and human 🙂

Part 2 | Sunday 15th October 9am-12pm
Will develop your skills further & give you all the opportunity to be ready & capable of entering a Level 1 Scentwork UK trial or Scent Experiences right here in Peterborough. NOTE: When booking please make known any potential reactive issues with your dog (07956488971) Please:

• • 1. Bring with you your normal kit with regards to attending a trial or a scent club/training, making sure you have suitable rewards. Ideally two different standards of reward. This may be food & toy or even food & better food!!! (Please call if you are unsure)
  • 2. Also bring a crash mat/bed for your dog to settle on.
