HOW?

Establish your dogs attention.
Reward slightest bit of attention to toy
When dog keen to play, hide the first, present another (clam toys are great for motivating play see Play Prey!), keep repeating!
Don’t tug the toy you want to switch from. Animate the toy you wish to switch to.
Add cue only if a reliable switch is occurring.

D’S
Distance Play around with the distance.
Duration Incrementally increase duration but always try to finish on a high!
Distraction Play at home/on lead/garden/out easy/out hard/in noise etc.
NOTE – Try to change only 1 element at a time.. Set your dog up for success
