If you are looking to become an approved SWUK Trial Manager then this is the course for you. This is a 10 hour online workshop to support you through what it takes to become a Trial Manager and will be delivered via Zoom.

NB. You do not need to retrain if you are currently or have been actively managing trials at old Levels 5,6,7 or 8. (Available as a refresher for £25.)

Key topics include:

• What’s involved in running a trial.
• Village halls, risk assessments, public liability.
• Trial administration (before/during/after).
• How to support your judges.
• How to support your scribes.
• How to support your competitors.
• Equipment.
• Special circumstances with competitors and their dogs. (Eg. Reactive/nervous/elderly etc)
• Avoiding pitfalls.

On completion, this workshop will permit you to provide limitless Tier 1 SWUK trials. (Levels 1 to 4). Initial (not yet linked) Trial Managers:

• will receive a complimentary Level 1 Trial Pack, including: Trophy/1st-4th Rosettes/10x Clean sweep Rosettes
• will have the option to enrol 1 or 2 persons on to a Tier 1 Judges Workshop at 1/2 price each. (Workshop must be enrolled on, within 1 calendar year of the date of the Tier 1 Trial Manager Workshop.)

Scentwork UK continues to be a growing sport across the country with more people than ever training in scentwork and looking for trials, competitions and challenges. There is no limit to the amount of trials you can provide and progression to Tier 2 is easily attainable due to the comprehensive nature of this initial Trial Managers course.
